Warminster's excellent on-site facilities include modern classrooms, a large sports hall, squash courts, AstroTurf and tennis courts, a lovely outdoor heated swimming pool, a relaxing art room and several sports pitches. Meals are taken in the spacious dining room and students are accommodated in six different boarding houses.
The school itself is located in the historic town of Warminster in Wiltshire, close to the Roman city of Bath, the cathedral city of Salisbury and historic Stonehenge. Warminster School's magnificent setting in 50 acres of grounds provides the perfect location for sports and outdoor pursuits of all kinds.

Accommodation
- There are several boarding houses located on site, each slightly different in style. Rooms are a mix of singles, twins, triples and quads.
- Bedrooms are equipped with a bed, desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers for each student.
- There are shared bathrooms and showers in each houses with a ratio of approximately 1:5
- Boys and girls are accommodated in separate houses. Each house has a common area, which will be open at specific times under supervision.
Facilities
- Sports facilities: Excellent sports hall, several playing fields, AstroTurf and hard-surface tennis courts.
- Classrooms: Well-equipped classrooms with a maximum of 12 students per class.
- Common areas: There are commons areas in each boarding house. There are also larger rooms used for assemblies and evening entertainment.
- Dining Hall: Self-service hot and cold meals in a well-equipped food hall in the main school building.
- Swimming Pool: Outdoor heated swimming pool, with life-guard.
- Email: A computer room is available for use under supervision.
- Shops: Warminster town centre is a five -minute walk away offering a variety of shops.Students will be supervised when visiting the shops.
After class activities*
Students will receive a variety of evening activities on site as well as occasional off site options. Typical evening activities include:
- Themed discos, karaoke, quizzes, talent shows, bowling, treasure hunts, cinema, football tournaments, ice skating, dancing competitions, arts and crafts.

Excursions**
Excursions take place every Wednesday afternoon and all day Saturday and Sunday. Excursions are normally by coach.

- Bath: Historic city with intact Roman Baths fed by hot springs.
- Salisbury: The historic city centre, with its narrow streets and shops can all be enjoyed on foot.
- Bristol Zoo:The zoo breeds rare and endangered species, which you can have a chance to see for yourself.
- Bournemouth: A beautiful large seaside town with sandy beaches, great shops and gardens.
- Stonehenge: England's famous prehistoric monument, approximately 4500 years old.
- Oxford: Home to England’s oldest university, you’ll enjoy exploring Oxford’s grand buildings, containing museums, shops and colleges.
- Portsmouth: The UK’s only island city, with beaches, shops and historic ships to explore.
- Windsor: Visit the Queen’s favourite weekend home. The oldest, and largest, inhabited castle in the world
- Thorpe Park: A leading theme park offering “over thirty extreme rides and attractions”
- Legoland: Theme park with rides, parks and all manner of Lego-constructed landscapes.
- Winchester: Historic cathedral city and once the capital of England
- Cheltenham: A town with great architecture in the centre of the Cotswolds, an area of beautiful countryside.

Train
Warminster train station is a 10 minute walk from the school. Travel time to London is approximately 2 hours 20 minutes, changing at Salisbury train station.
Ferry
Warminster is 1 hour by car from Poole and Southampton sea ports, with ferries sailing daily to France.
